Roto company group: “Performed well” despite a 10 % drop in turnover in 2009
“The crisis does hurt us, but doesn’t knock us off course.” This is how the chairman of Roto Frank AG characterises the global economic recession impacts on his own company development. Based on provisional figures, the construction supplier-group reported a nominal approx. 10 % limited drop in turnover for 2009, which in view of the “extremely adverse conditions” is ultimately a “clear success” in comparison with the competition.
As a result, one assumes a clear gain in market shares. The management believe that turnover stagnation is realistic for 2010. In their opinion the resolute course of diversification and internationalisation is correct and there is no alternative. Founded in 1935 by Wilhelm Frank in Stuttgart and still 100 % family-owned, the company looks back on 75 years of history this year.
