Daily Press: Comprehensive tasks

Roto Frank AG has reported an expansion of the top management. As the family-owned construction supplier announced, the supervisory board has appointed Leonhard Braig as Technology Director on the board of directors of the window and door technology division with effect from the 1st of January 2009. In his new function with the technology, production, logistics, design and development sectors, the 39-year old graduate engineer is responsible for a comprehensive scope of duties in the worldwide-operating company.

In its decision, the supervisory board takes into account the great importance of the diverse field of activity for the innovation and competitive ability of the manufacturer, according to its chairman, Dr. Michael Stahl. At the same time, it recognises the “distinguished work” of Braig, who began his career at Roto in 2003 as production manager of the Leinfelden-Echterdingen production plant. Since 2005, he has belonged to the management of the window and door technology division as group executive manager of production and technology.

The Roto company group, with an annual turnover of more than 600 million euros, is now managed by a board of directors consisting of four. The members are Dr. Eckhard Keill (CEO), Michael Stangier (CFO), Erich Rosenkranz (responsible for the Roof and solar technology division), and now Leonhard Braig.
