Continue to increase presence and efficiency
“With business internationalisation on the increase, the necessity also grows to create even more professional management, coordination, and support structures.” This is how the Roto Frank AG board of directors justify a restructuring of the window and door technology division sales management effective from the 1st of September 2008. According to the global market leader for Tilt&Turn hardware’s own statement, two special management areas are being created. The primary goal is to consistently increase presence and efficiency in the different markets, in the individual sales countries and ultimately with customers.
According to Dr. Eckhard Keill, this step leads to “lasting consolidation” for intensive market cultivation essential for the operative staff. As the chairman of the board of directors of Roto Frank AG and manager of the window and door technology division added, he can as a result thus concentrate more on the strategic tasks. Also Rainer Kohn - Group executive management; Sales - shall hand over operative functions but shall continue to be at the company’s unlimited disposal with his comprehensive experience.
Christoph Hugenberg (42) takes over the management of the “Western business areas” with the markets Central Europe, Western Europe, Southern Europe and Latin America as well as North America and the “AluVision” product range. The previous sales controlling and market planning manager came to Roto over two years ago and brought 13 years of experience in sales of technical consumer goods with him. In his new function, Hugenberg shall report directly to the board of directors.
The same applies to the director of “Eastern business areas”, responsible for the markets North-East Europe, South-East Europe, Russia and Central Asia, as well as Asia/Pacific and Export. The position is expected to be occupied at the beginning of 2009. Until then Dr. Keill shall carry this out in personal union.
