Red card for audacious plagiarist at the fensterbau

The concrete figures are often different, their alarming proportions however unchallenged: Plagiarism, counterfeiting and pirate copies create worldwide annual economic damage to the tune of several hundred billion euro and destroy hundreds of thousands of work places.

Brand and product piracy has also been booming in the construction supplier industry for years, reports Roto Frank AG. The current motive for this: a “particularly audacious attack” on the specialist’s original product range for window and door technology. As was reported, this company faced legal action at the beginning of April during the “fensterbau/frontale” exhibition in Nuremberg.
