Apprenticeships in Roto

The training of motivated junior staff to highly qualified personnel within the framework of an apprenticeship is of great interest to us in Roto Frank AG.

All apprenticeship places, both in the industrial-technical area and the commercial area, for 2007/2008 have already been assigned. Applications for the apprenticeships beginning in September 2008 are accepted at the earliest in July 2007.


» The industrial-technical area

Every year Roto Frank AG in Leinfelden-Echterdingen trains industrial mechanics (m/f) and tool mechanics (m/f).

The training takes place within the company departments, as well as in our internal apprenticeship workshop. Apart from the skills and abilities in the apprenticeship curriculum, you shall be trained in other areas such as environment protection and energy saving. In addition there are in-house training sessions, as well as company internal test preparation courses.

» The commercial area

Every year in the commercial area we train industrial clerks (m/f), and if necessary also information technology clerks (m/f). We offer high school graduates with good marks traineeships (in co-operation with the Berufsakademie Stuttgart) the chance to earn a ''degree in industrial business administration'' (Diplombetriebswirt/in - Fachrichtung Industrie).

The trainees pass through all important departments in the company - from purchasing to production to accounting. In addition, product management and quality assurance are part of the curriculum. In this manner you receive qualified training which enables you to specialise in most areas.

Apart from in-house courses and training sessions (for example MS Office, presentation training, present day etiquette, test preparation, etc.), also practical project work is part of the curriculum: You take over the entire responsibility of the Roto Shop, therefore managing a small company within the company.

As in the industrial-technical area, it is also our goal here to employ all trainees every year.
